Harry Styles launches vegan beauty line

Beloved pop icon Harry Styles has just launched his first beauty brand that offers everything from nail polish to skin care products. The vegetarian star’s new beauty products will all be vegan certified. The new brand called Pleasant will enter a growing cruelty-free vegan cosmetics and beauty market.

Pleasing will initially offer four nail polishes, including Perfect Pearl, Inky Pearl, Granny’s Pink Pearl and Pearly Tops, as well as two serums, including Pleasing Pen and Pearlescent Illuminating Serum. The first product launch will take place during a pre-sale launch on November 29 at 8:00 am PST, followed closely by the public sale which opens at 10:00 am PST.

The new Styles brand intends to present an innovative and non-sexist selection of beauty products to an increasingly environmentally conscious market. Styles hopes his brand can promote a beauty brand that positions itself as gender neutral in a very divided market.

“When we decided that Pleasing would make beauty products, I wanted to be sure they were something I would use. I didn’t want to make products to hide people, I wanted to showcase them and make them stand out. feel beautiful, ”Styles said in a release press. “The nice pen is great because if you’re feeling a little less than pretty, you can cool off anywhere. The lip oil dries to mat in about a minute, perfect for giving yourself a mini-massage with the eye serum. “

The brand’s FAQ page ensures that all of its ingredients are certified vegan and cruelty-free. The company claims its manufacturer has been certified as a cruelty-free company since 2013, promising consumers that all ingredients are ethically sourced and produced.

Plaisir nail polishes will be available for $ 20 a bottle or packaged together in a set including all four varieties for $ 65. The Pleasing Pen contains a double-sided skin care product, containing a steel cooling roller. The Pleasant Illuminating Serum will be available for $ 35 – a skin care product that contains moisturizing ingredients and a substantial amount of vitamin B5.

Other celebrities have entered the herbal beauty market in recent years. Billie Eilish has just teamed up with Paralux to develop her first fragrance, soberly titled Eilish. The superstar has announced that her very first fragrance will contain no ingredients of animal origin and will avoid any animal testing during its development. Ariana Grande launched her first fragrance this summer, with an all-vegan recipe that guarantees a cruelty-free production process.

A recent report titled Vegan Cosmetics – Global Market Trajectory & Analytics from Global Industry Analysts concluded that the vegan beauty market is expected to reach $ 20.6 billion by 2026. The market research found that the cosmetics market Herbal topped $ 15 billion in 2020, which means the industry is expected to experience a CAGR of 5.1 percent over the next 5 years. With celebrities and big companies helping to push the vegan beauty market into mainstream, the market is expected to continue its accelerated growth.

Beauty giants including Unilever, L’Oreal, Avon, LUSH and many more have just backed a federal bill in the Mexican government that successfully bans cosmetic testing on animals nationwide. The regulations mark the first time that a country in North America has successfully passed a nationwide ban on cosmetic testing on animals. The unanimously supported legislation means an international shift in animal testing methods within the industry, especially as large companies begin to sever ties with old manufacturing practices.
