For those familiar with Godox flashes, not much has changed in terms of looks and build quality. The addition of the front pilot light means that photographers will now be able to shoot in dark environments while still being able to view what they are photographing behind closed doors.

According to Petapixel, Godox said, “The new 2EW modeling lamp has been added to help photographers easily preview the lighting effect (focus) to ensure that every shot will give a perfect result.

The Godox V860III features 10 adjustable brightness levels, has a color temperature of approximately 5300K, and has a “quick switch” that allows the user to easily switch between manual and TTL.

Aimed at wedding photographers and event photographers, this versatile flash ensures that you will never miss an image when shooting with the built-in flash. It has a 1.5 second recycle time, High Speed Sync (HSS) capable of taking photos up to 1 / 8000s as well as flash exposure compensation, flash exposure bracketing and a synchronization mode on the rear curtain.

The upgraded Li-ion battery means you can get 480 full power flashes on a single charge. It can be used with Godox V1 or Godox AD200 using a trigger such as Godox X1 or Godox X-Pro.

The Godox V860III will be available for purchase for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Fujifilm, Olympus, Panasonic and Pentax camera systems at an introductory price of $ 229 (around £ 166 / AU $ 313).
