July 4th is Monday, and we all know what that means, right? Yeah. The hot dogs.

It also means that there is fireworks shows across the region this weekend. Here is our annual list of these.

It’s a good weekend for music. local rockers The chances will kick off George’s, followed by a local singer/songwriter/yodel Nick Shoulders perform the late night show. Oklahoma Country Act The cursed quails will perform on Saturday night with an Austin-based band, Ellis Bullard.

Speaking of county music, Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival is happening Friday night at the Walmart AMP. The tour features Willie, as well as The Osbourne Brothers and Steve Earle. Here is the ticket information.

Smoke & Barrel Tavern also has music this weekend, with a local synth-pop band Modeling play with a Chicago-based band Co-Stanza and the little rockers, Turquoise Tigers.

Kingfish also has a great show this weekend with a funky and soulful act, Kris Lager Group Friday night. They also have a tribute to the local country Vanished country Saturday.

T2’s hit show I miss you like hell continues with several performances scheduled throughout this weekend, and their new show Flex play now. Here is the ticket information.

There’s also dancing, yoga, and art on Mount Sequoyah all weekend as part of the Fayetteville Movement Festival. Here’s more on that.
