Falak Shah, 19, from Srinagar, has always dreamed of becoming a model. Although she encountered obstacles, she overcame them and convinced her parents to pursue her modeling career.

“I was very fascinated with modeling since childhood,” Falak told Rising Kashmir.

“I started my career as a cosmetologist and then moved into modeling. Being a Kashmiri girl, I prefer to start from here just so I can influence others too.

“My first photo shoot as a model was with Cashmere Crafts and my experience was very good,” she added.

Falak aims to do ethnic modeling only as she said it was the best and most enthusiastic way for her to present things.
