Passionate about mathematics, Lear aims to use the scholarships to attend the University of North Carolina Where Georgia State University pursue studies in actuarial science. When asked what made her a good candidate for this scholarship, Lear replied, “I believe I am a good candidate because my education is one of the most important things to me. getting this scholarship would lessen the burden that a high-cost college education places on my disabled veteran parents and fulfill my dream of becoming a college graduate.”
